Well, pickleball is a fun, social and friendly game that has been around for ages. The rules are relatively simple and the overall game is pretty easy for beginners to learn. That said, once that beginners get the bug and their hooked on pickleball, it usually develops into an obsession for the fast-paced, and sometimes competitive game for experienced players.

What’s great about pickleball is that it is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages, and you’ll often so older retirees showing no mercy and anhillating younger inexperienced players. It’s all in good fun or course! So with all of the excitement about pickleball, we decide it might be good to create a guide of pickleball in Tacoma to share where to find games and meet other pickleballers.

Where to play pickleball in Tacoma?

There are many places where people play pickleball in Tacoma but here are a few of the popular spots where you can find a game. You will need to bring your own equipment, paddles, balls, etc. Their are lock boxes at some courts with pickleball nets during the spring and summer. Generally nets are removed during the winter months, nut not at all courts so always ask around to see. All courts are first-come first-served except Browns Point which hosts drop-in play every weekday from 9-11 am.
