Tacoma Coffee: Tacoma’s Best Coffee Shops

In this article we share the best Tacoma Coffee shops.

OLYMPIA COFFEE

Olympia coffee sits right on N 26th & Proctor street in North Tacoma, with a beautiful hardwood bench out front making for a perfect hang out spot and people watch. They’re dedicated to roasting some of the best coffees in the world. Their beans are excellent with rotating selections roasted in small batches all year. We love everything about this place from their interior build out to the graphic design, to their certified B corporation status. Located in the heart of Tacoma’s Proctor Neighborhood, it’s a great location to grab your coffee, and wander around the local shops.

BLUEBEARD COFFEE ROASTERS

Located in Central Tacoma, Bluebeard is a 6th Avenue legend. It has a tastefully simple, modern industrial interior, and it of course serves excellent coffee. They roast all of their own beans, so you know what you're sipping is fresh with just about everything being roasted within the week. They have ample seating indoors, where you can gaze out the giant windows, or watch them roast the next batch of tasteful coffee!

VALHALLA COFFEE

Right across the street from two other places we love (Northwest Float Center and Expand Yoga) sits Valhalla Coffee on 6th Ave. Valhalla coffee roast their own beans right here in Tacoma, and they serve coffee in a small, red, black and white themed shop. Their selection isn't regularly varied, but it's reliably perfect. Also, drip isn't kept on deck here. It's all pour overs, which is just fine by us!

MANIFESTO COFFEE

Manifesto is a small Tacoma coffee roaster and coffee shop in hilltop. Their specialty is Fair Trade Organic single origin coffee, and they do it exceptionally well. The location has an extremely pleasing interior aesthetic, plus, if you or your kid is a skater there is a DIY skatepark located right next door.
